At Bible Baptist, we believe that our youth are the future of our church. A teen ministry is vital to the growth and development of a teenager. The teenage years are physically, emotionally, and spiritually challenging, and it is imperative to address the special needs of this age group. Bible Baptist’s youth ministry strives to support teens (and parents) as they navigate these exciting, and sometimes confusing, years. Spiritually, the teens are provided with a Sunday school class and Youth Group meeting on Sunday evenings. We strive to stick to the Word of God as the standard for our teaching and preaching. God has a plan for each teenager and it is our desire to help them find it and fulfill it.
We have monthly activities that give the teenagers an opportunity for Christian fellowship and serve as a an outreach as we encourage them to invite friends to these events.
We typically take a big out of state trip each year, in the past few years we have alternated between missions trips and a trip to PA, where we spend a day at Hershey Park and visit Sight and Sound Theaters.
Teen Camp is something that we look forward to each year as we spend a week separated from all that the world has to offer and focus on God and his word. The teen camp that we attend takes place mid to late summer.
We also have many opportunities for our faithful teens to serve right here in our local church. We believe that it is vital to allow the teenagers to serve along with the faithful adults of our Church. Many of our teens minister on a weekly basis.
If you are in the 7th-12th grade we would love to see you at an activity or at youth group at 6:00pm on Sunday nights.
